The original, ultra-premium 'Build Your Own Burger' was conceptualized by visionary founder Jeff Weinstein in 2003. Frustrated by the rigid, uninspired fast-food options of the era, Jeff set out to create a contemporary, checklist-driven dining experience where guests wield total creative control over their meals. Offering over one million unique combinations through premium proteins (ranging from hormone-free beef to vegan patties), artisanal cheeses, and dozens of gourmet toppings, this highly interactive menu acts as a playground for team customization, making it the ultimate tool for corporate event coordinators aiming to satisfy every dietary restriction with an upscale twist. Well known to be Silicon Valley's original team building catering, founder Weinstein wanted "a better burger and beer" for date night with his wife. founderfood founder John Moraski joined Weinstein in 2013 as catering director to scale the BYO Burger Bar across over 50 locations worldwide.
