Lavender 'N Cream
pastry chef Laura
fresh individual breakfasts & a full French-style pastry program
the founder story
A French-style patisserie with Montreal roots, run by the Petraki family in Redwood City. Pastry chef Edgar Petraki spent some two decades in pastry shops and bakeries and opened the family patisserie Sprinkles in Montreal before the family moved to California. In 2022 Edgar, Lara Faddoul and their son Joseph opened Lavender 'N Cream on Florence Street. Everything starts in their pastry case: buttery plain, chocolate and almond croissants, breakfast croissants with egg, ham and cheese, individual quiches, organic overnight oats, yogurt parfaits and seasonal fruit, plus eclairs, tarts and macarons for something sweet. Elegant, portioned and boxed in their signature purple, Lavender 'N Cream makes a Silicon Valley breakfast meeting feel like a morning in Montreal.
