Dish n Dash
Emad & Nadia I. · from Jerusalem
Emad and Nadia I. immigrated from Jerusalem bringing generational, fresh made middle eastern culture
the founder story
Fresh, generational Middle Eastern cooking from husband-and-wife founders Emad Ibrahim and Nadiah Mshasha, who immigrated from Jerusalem and built a Silicon Valley institution one platter at a time. Emad opened the original Dishdash restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale in 2001; about a decade later the family launched Dish n Dash to bring the same recipes to a fast-casual counter. Their central kitchen makes hummus, falafel, pita and kibbeh from scratch every day, then sends out family-style rice platters loaded with sumac pulled chicken, lamb and beef kabob, chicken shawarma, baba ganoush and the famous za'atar cauliflower wings. Mostly gluten-free with plenty for vegans, Dish n Dash is a generous, crowd-pleasing feast for Silicon Valley teams, now serving Sunnyvale, San Jose, Milpitas, Cupertino and Fremont.
