founder Angela Y.P. popularized the corn meal deep dish pizza honoring "Chi Town's" Blue Line Train
the founder story
Chicago-style deep dish with a Silicon Valley address, born from the team behind San Francisco's beloved Little Star Pizza. Little Star owner Brian Sadigursky and managing partner Angela Pace opened Blue Line on Castro Street in Mountain View in 2013, naming it for Chicago's CTA Blue Line, the train that runs from O'Hare straight into downtown. The signature is the crust: a golden cornmeal deep dish that takes a patient 25 to 30 minutes in the oven, alongside a classic thin crust, gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese so every diet in the room is covered. Hot honey sausage & arugula, wild mushroom & white truffle oil, the Chicago Chop and the spinach-ricotta Blue Line pie arrive party-cut with salad and appetizer platters, a crowd-pleasing feast that turns any Silicon Valley lunch meeting into a team celebration. Today Blue Line serves Mountain View, Campbell and Burlingame.
